White mustard ( Sinapis alba ) is an annual plant from Brassicaceae family. Compared to black mustard, white mustard has less volatile oil and a milder flavor. The seeds can be used whole for pickling or roasted to prepare various dishes. They are also an ingredient in mayonnaise, vinaigrettes, marinades and barbecue sauce. Mustard is often served as a side dish with hot dogs, pretzels and bratwursts. Please note that this product contains an allergen.
